A discipline, a framework, and three commitments that govern every engagement.
Technology is not a cost to be managed down. It is capital to be allocated with discipline.
Every engagement starts here. We bring the same rigor to a technology decision that a board brings to any other capital decision: a defined return, a governed path to it, and accountability for the result.

Five stages, one outcome.
DAAEG is the operating spine of every JMA engagement. It moves a decision from intent to value, and keeps it accountable along the way.
Establish strategic intent. State the outcome and the return before any investment is made.
Audit the current state honestly: capability, cost, waste, and risk. No flattery.
Map initiatives to business outcomes and sequence them by dependency and value.
Deliver with measurable discipline. Milestones tied to value, not to activity.
Realize the benefits, sustain value, and close the loop. The return is not realized until it is governed.
We hold ourselves to a different standard than traditional consulting firms.
Five commitments define every engagement.
For engagements to succeed, clients must share strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations openly. That candor is only possible when trust is absolute. We do not publish client logos or solicit testimonials. References are available on request.
Knowledge from every engagement is captured in The JMA Ledger and carried forward, so the relationship compounds rather than restarts. The work you do with us today does not have to be done again tomorrow.
Every engagement is shaped to the client's business, leadership, and the decisions in front of them. The method holds; the application is built for you.
Strategy without execution is theater. We define what success looks like alongside our clients, establish how it is measured, and stay through implementation. The engagement ends when the outcome is delivered.
The practices, the governance, and the discipline stay with your organization after the work ends. We work to make the next decision yours to make, with the muscle to make it well, long after JMA is gone.
The Ledger is JMA's internal knowledge system. Clients never log in to it; it is the operating spine of how we deliver. Every engagement we run is captured there, with the source, the reasoning, and the result, under governance that holds.
It is what lets us make the promises in the previous section. Knowledge captured once is carried forward, so a new partner on your account does not start from scratch and you are not asked the same question twice. AI runs inside The Ledger under a single rule: AI proposes, a person decides. Nothing reaches you that has not been reviewed by a named human at JMA, and every consequential action is recorded.
We built it because we believe a consulting firm's knowledge should compound the way capital does. The Ledger is the operational expression of that view.
We are paid by our clients alone. We hold no resale agreements, earn no commissions on tools we recommend, and accept no compensation for referrals. The recommendation reflects the business case, not a vendor relationship.
That independence is the precondition for everything else. Without it, the advice cannot be trusted; with it, the rigor of the framework and the depth of the senior judgment add up to something a client can act on with confidence.
